he Flowers from The Moon :
High in the mountains lived a prince. Whose great wish was to journey to the moon. Because he loved its gentle glow. His dream finally came true. When he reached the moon. He discovered its light comes from the moon king’s beautiful daughter.
The two young people soon fell in love. But the worlds they came from were very different and soon they had to part. As a sign of her great love. i see providing the space for people to be feel free to be the best selves is what guides me lately.
I often find that I achieve my “Ah-Ha” moments when I take the time to sit back and become re-acquainted with myself.
Sometimes I fear that the pain in our hearts will not allow us to witness the light of day. We need more and more guns; more and more money; more and more status and prestige. “…lest problems of money, property and prestige divert us from our primary spiritual aim.” (Al-Anon 12 Traditions). Everything I accumulate is in an effort to quiet my own pain – as I run from me, I will never be fast enough. Namaste.
I would say that what really lights my path today and gets me fired up in the morning today is my nonprofit work that promotes human dignity and spiritual freedom.

I was at a meeting recently with one of the groups for marriage equality and they described how it came to pass for two separate marches recently instead of unified one. And it occurred to me that we see our own faults clearly. If we want the world to see we are ready for marriage then the lessons of forgiveness and tolerance must first be learned within.
I went to (did?) two meetings and a panel yesterday. At the first meeting a young woman shared that she was there for a psychology class, but had heard so much that sounded like her own life, she began to cry as she shared. She said, “I will come back next week – and it won’t be for a class.” I don’t know how Higher Power delivers each of us to where we are supposed to be, but our journeys seem to converge at a place of awakening where we can choose to rejoice in this new day..or we can choose to go back to sleep.
