English Analysis

Pain sharpens our soul, says Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh. He urges us to use pain as meditation. In It Works: How & Why, pain connects us to others. Seeing our struggle mirrored in another’s eyes heals us. Carl Jung would agree. He taught that our shadows hold keys to wholeness. Jung saw pain as a bridge, not a wall.

As Bill Sees It reminds us that we must inventory our own faults. We cannot shift blame to others. This echoes Søren Kierkegaard’s belief. He claimed self-reflection fuels growth. When we admit our flaws, we step toward freedom.

These ideas link our pain to shared humanity. Rajneesh calls us to be awake in suffering. It Works calls us to find connection in it. As Bill Sees It demands we own it fully. Together, they push us inward, then outward. We reflect, then relate. We accept our wrongs, then make amends.

Each element of today’s SFZ whispers the same truth: awareness brings liberation. Jung and Kierkegaard remind us that we must not fear this work. Facing our darkness, we see light. Recognizing pain, we find our humanity.

We become less unique and more united. We drop self-obsession and find common ground. The soul sharpens, the heart opens. Pain, once an enemy, becomes a teacher.

Original SFZ Quotes Translated into Spanish

(It Works, How & Why, p. 39)

(As Bill Sees It, p. 222)

Spanish Analysis

It Works nos invita a encontrar conexión. As Bill Sees It exige que lo aceptemos totalmente. Juntos, nos impulsan hacia adentro y hacia afuera. Reflexionamos, luego nos relacionamos. Aceptamos nuestras faltas, luego reparamos.

When I watch the children who were separated from their parents and the terror they must feel coming from Honduras and other countries and seeking safe refuge in the US it makes me feel shame. Then anger. Then I just feel like I want to have children of my own to help grow up one day and help prevent things like this from ever happening again.
