Every lil Thing is Gonna Be Alright – Bob Marley (2:59)

The Controversial Aleister Crowley (3:25)

Anja Chakra – Awakening Third Eye Meditation (6:39)

Analysis: The Radiance of the Twelfth Step

Joy thrives through purposeful action. Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions emphasizes turning outward. We assist others who still face distress. Service transforms our internal spirit. This process creates a radiant light.

The Basic Text defines us as a vision of hope. Our clean lives attract those who suffer. We find a new beginning through these steps. The Higher Power fuels this deep transformation. Wellbriety teaches that “healing comes from the circle” (White Bison, 2002, p. 142). Community service restores our youthful zest.

Viktor Frankl argued that joy follows meaning (Frankl, 1959). We discover meaning by giving to our fellows. Crowley views joy as the exercise of energy. Stagnation leads to a slow spiritual death. Therefore, we must seek constant growth. The Great Spirit loves a heart in motion.

Nuestras vidas limpias atraen a quienes sufren.

I’ve been finding joy in little moments, when I don’t have time for big ones. Waking up early to walk to the gym/work/etc has been really nice, peaceful.

I have brought joy into my life by finding the excitement in the mundane. When I look at the tiny details of tasks, there’s usually something to be gained.

I am opening myself up to joining a new 12 step meeting from the beginning. Plus the possibilities for the USFZs new bank acct and community partnerships feels exciting as well.

Recently I have brought joy into my life by trying to be more of a people person. I have made an attempt to be friendlier and make conversation with those whom I encounter throughout the day, usually at a 12-step meeting. I am also trying to pay more attention to what i put into my body food and chemical wise. I also read about history which brings me joy.

Good morning everyone + Happy Tuesday. O, the joy of living + experiencing the love of our Creator. O, the joy of the 12 promises of recovery. O, the joy that no matter what calamities may befall us, trusting in God’s love + power + knowing, “Don’t worry about a thing cause every little thing gonna be alright.” (Bob Marley) Blessings. BB

I put together jewelry and just figured out a way to use the same choker and exchange my favorite stones in its center-piece and still make it look elegant, simple and how it should be. That brings me joy.

Today, I have a virus. I find it hard to think of things for which I am grateful. And yet, the way I view this virus is very different from a while ago. Today I know that first and foremost I must take care of myself; I can call friends if I feel worse or need help; it is my intention to be available to other FIPs (Friends in Program). Today, I am slowed down, today I have time to rest and meditate; today is a gift just like every other day.
