Analysis: The Architecture of Change

Surrender unlocks the door to a new self. The Basic Text outlines three vital keys. Open-mindedness, willingness, and surrender guide our path. We turn our lives over to a Higher Power. This act calms our spinning minds. Peace follows these quiet decisions.

Growth demands constant action. As Bill Sees It defines this process clearly. We commit to changing for the better. Responsibility accompanies this chosen transformation. Each person bears this weight with dignity. Our dedication shapes a new reality.

Joan Didion identified character as a source of self-respect. Responsibility anchors our human experience. This inner strength fosters deep healing. Wellbriety teachings reinforce this steady commitment. “We must walk the red road with purpose” (White Bison, 2002, p. 41). Viktor Frankl also championed this sense of meaning (Frankl, 1946). He argued that purpose saves us from despair. We build character through every difficult choice. Our lives become masterpieces of spirit.

I combine open-mindedness and willingness by balancing an unyielding commitment to core biblical truths with a gentle, teachable and loving posture towards others….

Being open to new ideas, learning, being wrong and correcting, all keep me open minded, vulnerable and surrendered.

I have not given into the temptations out there that wants to tempt me, and that exist out there to hold me back too from what I want to accomplish. I’m not going to change from that desire to stop using ever no matter what until I have accomplished not putting harmful substances in my body any longer, and as of right now I have been exhibiting that path.

When I realized that I had to get help, had to get into treatment and that truly my life was no long managed. For someone that his used to personal and career success, that is a big chunk of humble to eat at once. Yet the only way I was going to save my life was to ask for help, get help and be vulnerable.

Thank you for the opportunity to contribute. I am grateful.

On January 8th my priorities shifted from showing up to work on time to scrambling to find a place to live… I had a choice I could drown my feelings in a bottle or get busy trying to find a place to live and start over again. Starting over with a pair of socks and shoes. Sobriety became number one at that point…. I need it all, a loving God, alcoholics anonymous, a sponsor, church, therapy… my willingness to change has been unrelentless since the day of the fires on January 8th 2025

We are all that we see. New friends, new relationship, a new life. You just have to be willing to let go of the past.
I had a experience of letting go and opening up to someone new. It was good, but through the process I did feel myself grow.

Currently I am on a vacation up in the mountains with lots and lots of friends and people I know and lots of new people I get to meet. this is 5 days of us getting to know each other and each and every day I try not to plan anything and just to be open and willing to participate with whatever comes my way.

hello! i am learning that surrender means letting go of behaviors that don{t serve me. i am not drinking but i also get addicted to the so’called chase of unhealthy relationships and then blame others for not fulfilling my needs. it takes two to tango! i am learning to be more assertive and this has meant letting go of passive aggressive behavior and people pleasing. it is so hard. i know that the more i practice this muscle the better i will get.

Good morning everyone + happy Saturday. Here is today’s thought. When we turn our will + our lives over to the care of God, a new life unfolds to us. Many wonderful things happen, but one of the riches treasures we receive is the joy of working with others.

We may never see the fruit of much of what we do in life, but the fruit of our work does matter, for it nourishes those who come after us.

    Blessings. BB

I haven’t really much lately. Having to surrender to the fact that I may not get the specific house I’m trying to buy. I do the work but then it is out of my hands.

I’m surrenduring to the fact that I’m an alcoholic. And keeping an open mind about AA.

When I watch the Proud Mary video I am amazed at the power and strength of Tina’s performance and Ike’s creative work. To know what she went through and that she was able to move her life into another direction is a testament to her spiritual path. I have to make a phone call that requires faith and hope. Today I pray to my Higher Power to help me make that phone call and move forward on the path my Higher Power sees fit.
