I used to let feelings of love carry me away to the point that I didn’t follow my intuition, and would do or not do things contrary to what I know to be right for me and my well being. I’m much more careful about loving myself enough to not let go of certain things that matter to me no matter what.

I have found it possible to love those against whom I feel fear and resentment. Whenever I step closer to others, whenever I act from love (whether I feel it at that moment or not), I actually find love in that moment. I read that love is a verb, an action and an intention – not a noun as something to be possessed. I am learning to respond in love more and respond less from fear.
