Ever Wondered How You can Feel Empowered by Admitting Powerlessness? – Step 2

THE 1st STEP FILLER –

“The First Step has
left a vacuum in our
lives. We need to find
something to fill that
void. This is the pur-
pose of the Second
Step.” (The Basic
Text, p. 23)

“In so far as
one denies what
is, one is posses-
sed by what is not,
the compulsions, the
fantasies, the ter-
rors that flock to
fill the void.

– Ursula K. Le Guin (1929 – ) U.S. author

What you think about you bring about act as if and you will become attitude is everything I give myself permission to be in the moment when I’m uncomfortable I know that I’m teachable being vulnerable makes me willing to be honest and open-minded to a new way of life without the use of drugs and alcohol.

Good morning everyone + Happy Saturday. Here is today’s thought. There are many different paths in life. Good paths + bad paths. But today, I’m addressing the path one walks to self realization, the path to God. God leads us in the path He has chosen for us to walk. Different paths for different people. They all lead to God. Our way is our way. Their way is their way. Share your journey with others. Let them share their journey with you. In doing this, we walk together. Blessings. BB

I still struggle with the idea that I have a Higher Power who is forever at my side. I have lived so long with the addictive belief that “I am alone in a harsh, cruel, and unforgiving world; I am separate from everyone else.” This is FEAR – false evidence appearing real. I am so not alone, and yet it is hard to remember that. When I go to meetings or talk to any friend in program, I am reminded: I am not alone. I walk always with my Higher Power. I am not alone.
