How ‘The Message’ Relates to “The Power of Now” – Step 12

“Life is now. There was never a time when your life was not now, nor will there ever be.”  – Eckhart “Ulrich” Tolle (1948 – ) spiritual teacher

Today’s SFZ

THE “CENTRAL FACTOR” THAT TURNS FEAR INTO HISTORY – ” For most of us, the central factor in this spiritual awakening has been our decision to trust a Higher Power with every aspect of our lives.”  “Now we know we don’t have to fear anything that comes to us.” (OA 12 & 12, p. 99)

How have you experienced the “power of now”, lately?

A humble summary:

This book is so full of ideas, thoughts and lessons that I hesitate to try to summarize it. My summary won’t do it justice but it may help you understand what the book is about, so here is my take (so far).

There is no such thing as time (we made it up)
The Past and Future don’t happen, It is always Now
If you can stop thinking about the past and the future and be present in the Now you will feel better
If this summary brings up questions for you I have good news. The book is written in a Q&A format, based on the most common questions he gets about this idea. There is a very good chance your questions will be covered while reading the book.  (https://www.malandarras.com/the-power-of-now-review)

Recent events have somewhat forced me to be more attuned to the present, and I must say that it is a completely different perspective of how I used to view the “here and now.” This new found realization helps me plan a more relevant course…(5)

I’m learning to live in the moment. Its not easy but it does calm the hamster wheel spinning in my head when I am less concerned about what might be and what had been done. Life is simpler that way for sure.

Good morning everyone + Happy Wednesday. Here is today’s thought. One of the hardest tasks in life is waiting, patiently waiting. waiting for that phone call from that special person; waiting for that new job to come through; waiting for medical test results. But, still we have to wait. But learn to wait with great expectation; with anticipation; with joy. Allow waiting to become a fruitful endeavor. Blessings. BB
