Analysis: The Architecture of Unity

Unity ignites a fierce spark within the collective spirit. It Works: How and Why describes this bond as a life-changing force. We find immense strength in our numbers. Members around the world join this sacred circle. Trust transforms individual struggle into collective victory.

Furthermore, the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions honors our shared experience. Faith and works provide a sturdy foundation for the future. We follow the gentle will of a Higher Power. This connection sustains the community through every storm. John F. Kennedy echoed this sentiment of selfless service. He urged people to seek the common good over personal gain.

Mahatma Gandhi also championed this path of selfless unity. He believed service helps us find our true selves (Gandhi, 1948, p. 124). Similarly, The Red Road to Wellbriety emphasizes healing through community (White Bison, 2002, p. 11). We walk together toward a brighter dawn. Service to the group nourishes the individual soul.

Además, Doce Pasos y Doce Tradiciones honra nuestra experiencia compartida.

Feeling part of a group, or team I feel that I am capable of a lot more and also feel a sense of belonging. I think that second part has been very important in my life

I love being a part of a team. I have the team that I play splatoon with, and they really mean a lot to me. I also have other teams like my group for one of my classes is a kind of team, and the people that I work with are a team as well. A team working together accomplishes more than an individual, so I am measurably more powerful as a team member than I am alone.

Teams are force multipliers. As I continue to awaken more of my spiritual nature, I find myself growing in Team Higher Power. The same is true for the family where I live and in the meeting rooms I attend regularly. I am grateful for the benefits of the teams I choose today.

Thank you for sharing recovery with me. Grateful.

The most important part of being in a team is everybody working together… TEAM stands for, together everyone accomplishes more… it is crucial that in a sober living setting each individual does their part to make it run smoothly by pulling their own weight… and when that happens it is a powerful thing because then we are capable of doing more…

I have made the choice to put my wellness first, and to not compromise when it comes to my goals.

In recent posts I have been very fixed on the power of the Serenity prayer. In the last 24 hours that is starting to shift toward what I see now as the greatest gift, the present.

For most of my life my obsession has been rooted in the notion of a destination, withe conditioners that say, when this happens, it will lead to this happening, which ultimattely will be a sort of destination.

A few recent events are reframing my thought into focusing on Today, the Present and realizing that life is simply a present, infinity.

    Thank you, for this present.

Good morning everyone + Happy Sunday. Today is Cinco de Mayo. A lot of people celebrate this day. But this day, like any other day, is a cause for celebration. We are sober. We have a new life. And we are truly grateful. Blessings. BB

Good morning everyone + Happy Saturday. Here is today’s thought. God thought about the universe + brought it into being. God’s thought also included me + included you. By constantly developing spiritually, we bring purpose + meaning to our lives. Blessings. BB

I believe in the “healing power of love” as the PSLA mission statement says. “Love is always the answer” is another great PSLA and Jen Hadley quote I repeat to myself all the time.

One of my challenges was seeing that there is no life without love. Love constantly surrounds me and learning to be grateful for all love was sometimes difficult for me. Sometimes the love came from the “wrong” person or not the person I wanted. Or “those people will always love me anyway – they don’t count!” Being mindful of the tremendous amounts of love I am honored to receive; being mindful of how loving acts must look on my part – these are my challenges. I believe in life full of love – beginning and ending in my Higher Power.
