From Margot E.: “I rush about frantically! I am running, running, running…from what? Myself? My own thoughts? My own pain? I am learning to slow down. Every thought does not require an action. … I am learning to listen in the stillness and the silence for the voice of my Higher Power. The voice says, “You are never alone.”’ (on peace of mind)

I Need Peace – Caleb Gordon (3:19)

Biography of Paramahansa Yogananda (7:17)

Powerful OM Meditation by Paramahansa Yogananda (9:43)

Analysis: Finding Sacred Peace

Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions promises release from severe emotional suffering. Severe anxiety yields to serenity. We discover a priceless gift. Likewise, It Works: How and Why describes unexpected peace of mind. Complete perfection remains unnecessary.

Paramahansa Yogananda urges us to send thoughts of love. Anger poisons the body. Mahatma Gandhi also advocated nonviolence and spiritual purity. He asserted, “Peace is its own reward” (Gandhi, 1960, p. 42). Furthermore, a Higher Power grants quiet strength. Wellbriety teachings support this sacred transformation. “Serenity comes when we let go of anger” (White Bison, 2002, p. 145). Thus, we nurture gentle harmony within.

Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions promete liberación del sufrimiento emocional severo.

What have you done to achieve “harmony”, lately?

Today its sitting outside our beautiful Art House in Pasadena, enjoying the morning sunshine and my morning coffee, sitting here being present with my first day off of school classes this week, doing my Zonr’s and enjoying where I have ended up in this present moment . . and in this city, community, my college . Feeling harmony between all these aspects of my life here, and enjoying that I get the opportunity to work on self care, love and nourishment of my body, soul, dreams and goals ~ very blessed and in harmony at the moment Xo

Peace is ever present. For me to feel more peace, I need to be at peace. It is here now and it is a choice. During times when I was using and initially healing from using, the challenge to be at peace, was my own ego. Often the egos need to be the victim of circumstance overwhelmed tools that I have learned to change my state to one of grace and peace.

What I find most interesting is that with duration and practice, these skills come back gently. Ofen coming in on cat’s feet, noticed in self reflection later.

Thank you for sharing recovery with me. Grateful.

For me no person, place or thing can bring peace and harmony. It can only come from an entity and that entity is jesus. I have tried praying to buddha, I’ve tried Siddhartha I’ve tried the Buddha meditations therapy, counseling psychiatry and the funny thing is Jesus was there the whole time asking me to seek him…and the day I did was the day that the peace love and harmony started to overflow so much so I couldn’t contain it and had to tell my family and friends. When I found my higher power some thought I was crazy. But I knew right then and there something had happened something had changed and not in a way where I’m this crazy religious guy. I actually hate religion I think there’s more hypocrisy in the church than anywhere else. But there’s no need to rant or persuade… I have finally found what I’ve been looking for and it’s been here the whole time

Tryin’ to realize consistently that I want to change my attitudes towards people if there’s a disagreement is how I maintain harmony. People may say somethings too that I don’t all the way agree with, but what’s important is not lettin’ them get next to me(moi). Who wants to be in complete conflict with people, when there are ways of findin’ peace even if someone isn’t harmonized, and wants to offend someone. I like that I’m gettin’ more thorough in my writin’, because the ability to be fully expressive is of importance. Gettin’ my guard card recently lets me (moi) know that maintainin’ harmony amongst people is key, and very important. In Buddhism for instance, and medtation we all learn a sense of peace that is important to our spirituality, that I hold very dear to me(moi). Sometimes people don’t like my harmonious mind and instead like conflict. When someone likes confusion that’s not good for me or them I harmoniously distance me from them to keep peace.

I rush about frantically! I am running, running, running…from what? Myself? My own thoughts? My own pain? I am learning to slow down. Every thought does not require an action. I am learning to be still. I am learning to sit in the silence. I am learning to listen in the stillness and the silence for the voice of my Higher Power. The voice says, “You are never alone.”

I like how vivid the writin’ was. Absolutely right about findin’ that HP that can assist us in beckonin’ peace, and safety.
