“Never expose yourself unnecessarily to danger; a miracle may not save you … and if it does, it will be deducted from your share of luck or merit.” – The Talmud (c. 500 CE) Judaism’s basic text on miracles

Analysis: Walking in the Light of Change

Recovery begins with a profound inward shift. The Big Book describes a miraculous presence within our hearts. This Great Mystery performs tasks we once found impossible. We trade our old survival skills for a new life.

Consequently, we stop relying on our own limited strength. It Works: How and Why warns against returning to old ways. The miracle of change stays with us forever. We cannot unsee the light of this transformation.

“The miracle is the change in how we see ourselves” (White Bison, 2002, p. 34). This shift aligns us with a Higher Power. Albert Einstein believed we should view everything as a miracle (Einstein, 1950). Living with this awareness requires constant vigilance.

The Talmud warns us not to test our luck. We must protect the grace we have received. Our actions must honor this newfound spiritual health. Every day offers a chance to walk in balance. We must nurture the spark within our souls.

“SOMOS MILAGROS” – Uno y Todos – El Paso 1 comienza

Today my rehab buddy gave me a lead on a job in treatment nearby. My current job turned out to be a trigger and so I’ve been looking elsewhere and have been given this lead which gives me hope! Wish me luck!

A miracle that I experienced today was, when a fire truck was trying to get through, the car to the front/left of me made an incredibly quick swerve into my lane without really paying attention to his surroundings. Thank God I saw in enough time and was able to react.

Every day is a miracle, waking up, doing Zonr, journaling, working on the day’s projects. I thank my higher power for the miracle of each day and how I may be of service.

Thank you for sharing recovery with me. Grateful.

The daily miracles in my life demonstrate God’s consistent care…. shifting my heart from Fear to peace is an ongoing miracle. Having the Obsession to drink removed is a huge miracle. Being able to see his work, daily, is a wonderful miracle

Good morning everyone + Happy Monday. Time to relax. Easter services are completed. Just taking it easy today. Here is today’s thought. When we let God’s spirit come into our lives, we learn how to get along with others + how to help them. We can do nothing of any value without God’s help. Blessings. BB

Today I experienced the miracle of fellowship, good food and being of service. So many people came up to tell me how much they appreciated the speaker today at PSLA and our joint Pot Luck in the Park event. I was nearly magical to see so much harmony with 30 or so people of all ages enjoying each others company.

Today I am grateful for hearing from Easy and the clear, clean, beautiful April sky. I am grateful for the wind that cleans our skies. Today I am grateful.
