Analysis: A Leap Toward Meaning

The third step marks a profound transition. The Basic Text calls this decision a giant leap. We surrender our will to a Higher Power. Willingness opens the door to transformation. We abandon the need for complete control. Freedom follows this simple, honest choice.

Inner shifts reshape our outer reality. The Big Book reveals our hidden, untapped strength. We discover resources deep within our souls. William James understood this mental alchemy well. He argued that attitude dictates our life’s path. Changing our minds alters everything we experience.

Wellbriety wisdom deepens this ongoing journey. “We walk toward the light by letting go” (White Bison, 2002, p. 88). Viktor Frankl also championed this spiritual search (Frankl, 1946). He believed meaning sustains us through every trial. Purpose anchors us in the turbulent sea of life. Each step forward honors our true potential. We embrace the unknown with quiet courage. Trust builds a new bridge to tomorrow.

Just this morning, having some difficulty with a task, a friend offered a hug, it shifted my attitude and made my day better.

Thank you for sharing recovery with me. Grateful.

Pain has been a long hinderance of me in feeling like irrationality is before me, but my inner senses have started thinking more in these past few years on what could be the outcome, and to put up with a bit more pain, while in study + research to end my pain. My inner sense of study, and wants of knowing something will come have kept me knowing something is going to occur in the right way for me.

The process of beginning to trust something larger than ourselves can allow us to stop taking on so much burden in our lives. Trusting in a higher power relives the stress of taking on life’s challenges.

My higher power is definitely patient with me as I am going through the process of life sober I believe that the unsuspected inner self is the holy spirit working through me and I’m grateful to be of sound of mind and do his will as best I can.

Let go and let God. I take great comfort in knowing that I do not have to carry the burdens of the world. That within each of us is something greater than us. It reminds me of the song, “Lean on me” when times are hard or seemingly impossible, I’ve got a friend to lean on.

Good morning everyone + happy Friday. Here is today’s thought. When we become sober people, we experience a new life, a new hope, + a new freedom.

This weekend marks the beginning of Gay Pride in West Hollywood. It’s a time to be proud of the people we are. It is a time to celebrate a wonderful life given to us by our Creator. It is not a time for drunken revelry.

So, let’s be sober. Let’s be proud. Let’s be in love + give love. Happy Gay Pride to all. Blessings. BB

Things just seem to flow. Less stress. Things like meeting up with long lost friends, approved for home loan, and even work is going well.
