BE THE MESSAGE IN EVERY WAY –
“The twelfth step suggests that we continue to practice our new way of acting upon life ‘in all our affairs … .’ ” “Applying these principles in all our affairs means that we are no longer ruled by a fear of admitting our mistakes. We have the integrity to show the world our true selves.” (Over Eaters Anon., p. 104-105)

Analysis: Living the Message
The Twelfth Step invites a profound transformation. Overeaters Anonymous urges us to practice these principles everywhere. We no longer hide behind masks of perfection. Integrity allows us to reveal our true selves. This honesty builds a bridge to others. We share our struggles and our victories.
Carl Rogers believed experience holds the highest authority. Our past failures become our greatest assets. We offer hope by sharing our survival. Brené Brown echoes this sentiment in The Gifts of Imperfection. She believes vulnerability births love and joy (Brown, 2010, p. 10). By showing our scars, we invite others to heal. This authentic sharing serves as a lighthouse.
The Higher Power guides this process of recovery. The Red Road to Wellbriety offers deep indigenous wisdom. “Healing comes from the heart of the community” (White Bison, 2002, p. 143). We find strength when we walk together. Each story adds a thread to the tapestry. Our journey proves that change is possible. We give this gift freely to everyone.

“NUESTRA EXPERIENCIA, FORTALEZA Y ESPERANZA”
The Red Road to Wellbriety ofrece una profunda sabiduría indígena.
