Have a Happy & Safe Easter as We Open Up the Flood Gates of Grace – Step 1

WADING IN THE ABUNDANCE OF GRACE – “The persistent use of meditation and prayer, we found, did open the channel so that where there had been a trickle, there now was a river which led to sure power and safe guidance … .” (12 & 12, p. 109)

What does Grace mean to you on this Easter Sunday?

The Two Cockerels and The Eagle :

There were once two cockerels. Both wanted to rule the roost in the farmyard and they decided to resolve the question, once and for all, by fighting a duel. They both fought bravely, but, in the end, one had to give up and ran away. The winner flew up onto a little wall and launched its triumphant, ‘Cock-a-doodle-doo.’

Unfortunately, the noise attracted the attention of an eagle, which swept down and raked the cockerel with its claws. From this, we see that God gives grace to the humble and He does not hesitate to punish those who are too proud.

Good morning everyone + Happy Easter Sunday. Today, the Christian Church celebrates the resurrection of Jesus. We too are also resurrected to a new life. Sobriety is our gift from God + with this gift, we too have a new life, new beginnings, + new hope. Alleluia, Jesus has risen + so have we. Happy Easter everyone. Blessings. BB

I feel much more enriched as I discover new ways to meditate. Whether in nature or at home or thru the links. My connection with my higher power is strengthened in new ways now.

The prayer I must not forget each day is a prayer of Gratitude. I ask my Higher Power to watch over those that I love; I send out memories to my ancestors; and I try not to interfere in the lives of others by praying for specific things for them. Someone shared at a meeting that sometimes when we pray for others we are simply interfering. So, in light of the fact that others are on their particular journeys, guided by a Power greater than any of us, I ask for peace, progress, hope, and light for us all. And I thank my Higher Power for all that I have and all that I am.
